A quick and dirty fix and fill I did recently on a vintage Goya. Not bad for an hour's work if I say so myself. (Yes, the sticker got distressed in the polishing process.)

Getting back to a repair I’ve been putting off. I need to rebuild the heel of this 1967 Kay bass. This means grafting on new wood, recutting the dovetail, and sculpting the graft. To get access for later recutting the dovetail, I need to first remove the fingerboard. Wish me luck.

Pro-tip: when plugging a stripped neck mount, use maple, not poplar. Re-repairing another’s work. Poplar is much softer than maple and much easier to strip or pull the threads.
