Latest 1911 creation

Tisas ASF frame with darkened Phosphate and a Hot Salt Blued Tisas Govt slide with stainless barrel and Wilson Combat oversized barrel bushing.

Also fitted with C**t ring hammer, Ed Brown straight MSH, Cylinder & Slide trigger, 16 pound recoil spring and recut Tisas sear.

Trigger is at 3.9 pounds. Breaks like glass and the pistol is more accurate than I am.

How about the one that moves out of the way ? A combo of Phosphate lower and Hot Salt Blued upper.

Our new Suppresor cleaner and Ultrasonic Cleaner. Removes carbon and grime, just spritz items afterwards with Double Tap Sealant or Blued Maxx to seal and make them even easier to clean next time.

Contains no Gasoline, no VOC's, no PFA's, no nasty stuff. If you like getting high on the fumes of traditional gasoline based cleaners, then we ain't for you buddy 🤠

M&P 357 Sig.

My first venture into 357 Sig with this Texas Police issue. It shows a lot of holster rash, bumps and scrapes. but the inside shows very little wear.

I have put 200 rounds of FMJ through it and it is accurate, reliable and a similar recoil to 38 Super. It's proven itself to me and it's time to make it part of my EDC rotation with some JHP's going into the mags.

Happy 45 Franken C**t Friday.

My first ground up project. The C**t frame is from my good friend Peter Ferdico The slide is a C**t 70's large rollmark style and barrel. All the remaining parts are from the spares box.

How does it shoot ? Surprisingly accurate for a parts box pistol. The slide to frame fit was tighter than C**t's Quality Control budget. It took me hours of stoning, but its a great now it feels like its on bearings.

I really like this creation, not because its my first ground up build, But it marks a personal achievement for me. Two years ago, I didnt know how to replace a 1911 trigger, so the 1911 Renaissance has been a great journey for me.

C**t M1991-A1 upgraded to a Czech Hawk!!

Purchased through Brownells, Inc. the following @ nighthawkcustom parts are fitted:-

Sear, Disconnector, Hammer system, Trigger, Sear spring & Checkered MSH.

As expected from Nighthawk, the trigger break is superb, with a glass rod break feel to it.

This 1992 C**t M1991-A1 is typical of this style of Phosphated 80's Series C**ts that were produced in the 90's. To help compete against its rivals, C**t produced a low cost 1911 that featured a Phosphated finish, plastic trigger and Main spring housing. Despite this, they were well made and very reliable.

Treated with Double Tap Tactical Sealant and if you look closely, you can see the C**t Phosphate sparkle in the photos.
