We're doing another taste test, this time featuring the Rhum Cask Irish Whiskey from Clonakilty Distillery in Ireland. From the whiskey itself you get a nice fruitiness that's just strong enough to be noticed, but not overpowering the whiskey itself.

With the Oak Bourbon-infused Wood Chips: the earthiness of the chips cuts down on the sweet fruit taste.

With the Cherry Bourbon-infused Wood Chips: the cherry wood accentuates the fruity, but also blends in some of the bourbon depth.

Just back from a short holiday in Ireland, and you know that some goodies were picked up! A personalized bottle of Distillery Edition from and a Rhum Cask finished whiskey from that was a surprise find. We'll be taste testing these with each of our bourbon-infused wood chips here soon. Stay tuned!

We recently visited Four Finger Distillery Indy and just had to pick up something new. We've already used the Blind Tiger Rum in our Rum Runner Mixer. We also picked up their Bottled-In-Bond Rye, which we'll use soon! Stay tuned to the Sunday Mixer!
