Does everyone know just how old Abercrombie & Fitch is? I will admit I had no idea how old the company is. It started in the late 1800’s as an upscale sporting goods store. It ended up closing and then purchased by Limited brands and marketed to young people. I did a lot of research on the label of this sweater this week. It is a collab with Nancy Thomas. Hand knit wool. I really wanted this but the auction bidding went crazy. I had it at $36 all week and last I saw it was over $90. I do think I could have sold it for a profit still but I dropped out of the bidding. Would you have kept bidding?

I have a confession: I am not an overly sentimental person as it relates to things. I love the things that specifically remind me of someone but I am not attached to everything. My mom gets more attached to a lot of things. She has started to let me take some of these things knowing that I’m likely finding a new home for them. I will say that I love if a family item suits one of my kids and they keep it. However, if it doesn’t, I’m ok parting with it. Case in point, my grandparents MCM lamp. I listed it on Marketplace. This morning, the sweetest young woman came and bought it. She purchased her grandparents house after they died and have a lot of their furniture. What she doesn’t have, she tries to buy from other grandparent houses. She sent me a pic of the lamp in her sunroom. There could not be a more perfect room for my grandma’s lamp to live than the sunroom. She was the sunniest person I knew. I was nervous to tell my mom but I sent the pic and told her. She told me she loved that and it made her day. Yay!! ❤️
