Hand-Me-Down Talents I thank God and the women in my family every day for having passed along to me the ability to create. I've been creating for as long as I can remember.

I come by it naturally as my mom and both grandmas (and greats) were always crocheting or trying out a new "craft". Some may call me a hobby hopper, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I love making heirloom quality classic pieces but also find myself drawn to fun, whimsical items with bright colors. I use quality materials from small businesses/suppliers, domestic, and earth-friendly whenever I can, even if it means a higher price. I would consider it a blessing to make something for you or someone special to you.

Talk about a whirlwind! The rollercoaster ride for the last 24hrs has been bonkers!

Wish it had a happier ending, but it’s what’s best for now.

Totally gutted, but I’ll be more prepared next year for The Country Living Fair

As a side note—this is why I just chuckle to myself when some local markets don’t let me in but I get into—and sometimes invited without applying—events like this 🤷🏼‍♀️

My embezzling go-for and market buddy moved to Chicago today (complete with lake view) to begin his newest adventure as an EMT/firefighter and eventually a paramedic.

And while I will miss him of course, how can I be sad knowing how excited he is?!

I can’t wait to get to visit and have him show me around…this time hopefully it’ll be a titch warmer.

Well, our last Augtober market yesterday didn’t go quite as planned thanks to the threat of storms, but I sure do appreciate all of you who had the chance to shop with me in the morning!

Safe to say, you all were loving the new designs I stitched out for you last week—including this darling sourdough geese “will yap about sourdough”.

Also check out that absolute specimen of a loaf from my friend Ashley of Jason & Ashley 🥰 you have no idea the amount of self-control it took to not tear into it before using it as a picture perfect prop
