Honey Hollow is the home of Foley's Russian Bees, Franklin Broom Works, and Little White Lye Soaps. Franklin Broom Works made its debut in December 2013.

My 4 year old son has severe eczema. His skin is very sensitive to perfumes, dyes, and harsh cleaning chemicals. I bought a bar of your soap to try, and I love it! I had a dry, itchy spot of skin on my back that lotion didn't seem to help. After just a few days of using your soap in the shower it went away. My husband ran out of his soap, and I gave him my one and only bar to try. He noticed a difference the first time trying it, and since then I had to cut the bar in half so we each have some. I've also noticed my girls haven't complained of itchy skin lately.

UPDATE: Wow - I am overwhelmed by the number of really wonderful guesses! We did indeed deliver more than ONE TON of honey to the Iowa State Fair! We have two winners that guessed 2,150 lbs. Our total was actually 2,152.5 lbs! Diana Nielsen and Jenn Martz, I'll be in touch!

Remember that big pile of boxes we posted about recently? Today was the day it got delivered to the state fair! We did the math, and we moved a LOT of honey! Any guesses how many pounds of honey we delivered today? Closest guess by Tuesday at 5pm wins the honey pictured in the final photo - all products you can find in the Iowa Honey Producers Association booth at the Iowa State Fair beginning on Thursday!

We are open today! To celebrate Independence Day and the hot weather that comes with it, we will be sampling lemon mead slushies (for those of age) and honey lemonade (for everyone)! Open today from 9am-1pm.

Restock alert! We are FULLY restocked on cinnamon and blueberry lemon creamed honey! You might notice the blueberry lemon is slightly lighted colored than before. Unfortunately our prior source of freeze dried blueberries is no longer available, so we had to find a new source. I tasted it and love it! But if you want to be sure you still love it, don't forget to ask for a sample 😉

Hey, beekeepers - we just got a brand new delivery of hand-forged frame rests! These are crafted by Jim Berkley, a local beekeeper, who merged two of his passions - blacksmithing and beekeeping - to create these beautiful, utilitarian tools. Just set it on the edge of your hive box, and place a frame or two on it, so you can safely inspect the rest of your hive box without needing to lay your frames down.

The weather looks fantastic for installing bees until possibly Sunday evening when there is a chance of rain later on. See everyone these next 2 days!

This weekend we will be open Saturday from 8am-6pm and Sunday from 8am-2pm. We have customers coming to pick up bees, so might as well let everyone come visit, too ;-)

It's carniolan weekend here at Foley's Russian Bees and Honey Hollow. We don't have extras, but we do have all your pre-orders here! Reminder emails were sent out this last Monday, so if this is news to you, it ended up in your spam 😉 8am to 6pm today, and 8am to 2pm for anyone coming Sunday.
