“I sought the Lord, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.” — Psalm 34:4 🤍
I think God has a funny way of putting the exact Scripture in front of us when we need it most.
This week’s verse couldn’t have come at a better time for me.
Lately, I’ve found myself worrying more than I’d like to admit. Sometimes our minds get so busy trying to plan every next step that we forget to simply bring it to God first. This verse has been such a sweet reminder that He doesn’t ask us to carry our fears alone.
I love that it doesn’t say we’ll never have fears—it says that when we seek the Lord, He hears us. There’s so much peace in knowing that no worry is too big, no decision is too overwhelming, and no anxious thought is beyond His reach.
So if you’re carrying something heavy today, let this be your reminder (just as much as it’s mine): seek Him first. He already knows what tomorrow holds, and we don’t have to.
This week’s homework: every time a worry pops into your mind, turn it into a prayer instead. I have a feeling we’ll all be a little lighter because of it. 🤍
