Y’ALL. MY HEART IS SO FULL TODAY. 🥹💗

Even though today was a little slow (THANKS, RAIN 🌧️😂), we had some AMAZING women stop into our shop today who were just FULL of compliments.

But one conversation in particular reminded me EXACTLY why we do what we do.
One sweet gal came in and told us, “Before I started coming here, I had a hard time feeling cute and good about myself. Now when I come in and leave with a date night outfit (for a STEAL), I feel CONFIDENT.”

AND THAT RIGHT THERE, Y’ALL. THAT IS WHY WE DO WHAT WE DOOOOOOO. 😭❤️

THAT is why deciding to list our shop was one of the HARDEST decisions we've ever had to make. Because you ladies remind us EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. why we keep pushing through. Why we come back into the shop at 5 PM and work for HOURS making sure everything looks as beautiful as possible. Why we pour our hearts, our time, and SO MUCH LOVE into this little store.

It's not just about selling clothes. It's about helping a woman walk out of our doors feeling BEAUTIFUL. CONFIDENT. WORTHY. It's about making sure EVERY woman, no matter her budget, can find something that makes her feel AMAZING.
And knowing that we've created a place where women feel that way??? I genuinely don't have the words. 🥹

You all have made this decision so incredibly bittersweet. And while we know what the next chapter holds for our family, it doesn't make leaving this one any easier.
So THANK YOU. For shopping with us, for cheering us on, for the compliments, for the conversations, and for reminding us on even the rainiest, slowest days that what we've built here is SO MUCH MORE than a clothing store.

WE LOVE YOU LADIES MORE THAN YOU KNOW. 🫶🏻💗

Some seasons just feel heavy.

When it feels like one thing after another gets added to your plate. When plans suddenly change, responsibilities pile up, and you’re trying to figure out how you’re possibly going to handle everything that needs to be done.

I’m someone who stresses. I worry. I overthink. I try to plan ten steps ahead because somehow knowing the plan makes me feel a little more in control.

But lately, I keep coming back to Joshua 1:9.

Be strong. Be courageous. Do not be afraid.

Not because everything is going perfectly. Not because my plate isn’t full. Not because I know exactly how everything is going to work out.

But because God is with me in the middle of the chaos, too.

So when the stress starts telling me “I can’t handle one more thing,” I’m trying to remind myself that I don’t have to carry everything at once. I just have to take the next step and trust that God will give me the strength for whatever comes with it.

Some days, faith looks less like having peace about everything and more like whispering, “God, I’m overwhelmed… but I trust You.” 🤍

You know how you can help our local businesses - BY TELLING ABOUT THEM! It's that simple! 💫 I just had to share this example. Yesterday, I stopped in a few spots on our Indianola square. On my Facebook stories, I had shared a quick impromptu video of a few items I got from Still Waters Boutique and Consignment and within the next few hours I heard -

"I haven't heard but need to go."
"That is seriously so cute! I didn't even know this place existed!"
"Ok I'm going."
"Ok I'm sold. I'm going next week."

YA'LL. This is 4 new people who wants to go shop a local business they hadn't been to yet.

Truthfully, sometimes even I get in my own head and think, "Oh someone is probably watching my story thinking I'm so cringe" ... but who cares! If by me being silly and sharing about my local finds it brings some new people into our local shops, it's worth it!!

So, here's your little reminder, the BEST thing you can do for our local businesses is simply to tell people about them :)
