Want to make your legs look a mile long? 🔥 A few simple styling tricks can totally change your proportions and give the illusion of much longer legs.

Save these tips for getting dressed:

• Choose a high rise: High-waisted jeans, trousers, and skirts visually raise your waistline and make your legs look longer.

• Tuck in your top: A full tuck, fitted bodysuit, or slightly cropped top keeps your natural waist visible instead of shortening your legs.

• Go monochromatic: Keeping your top, bottoms, and even shoes in a similar color family creates one long, uninterrupted line.

• Try a pointed-toe shoe: The elongated shape helps visually extend the leg, especially with flats or a low heel.

• Match your shoes to your pants: Black pants with black shoes (white with n**e) keeps the eye moving instead of breaking up your leg line.

• Wide Leg Pants: Trousers and wide leg jeans that nearly skim the floor can make your legs look extra long, especially with a higher waist. The pants leg opening should hide a heel (as seen here), which will add inches to the appearance of your legs.

I like to buy wide leg pants and jeans in extra long inseams if they are my “going out pants”. Pairs like this with a cinched high waist are particularly flattering.

The biggest takeaway? Create a higher waistline and fewer visual breaks!
