Our Pressed Flowers hat is finished! This mosaic hat was a very pleasant knit— the pattern was intuitive once it was established and I always think mosaic looks harder than it is. (Just one color per row!)
The brim is nice and deep, so the hat can slouch a bit or be worn tighter with the brim folded up.

What is Knit Night at LYS? A social evening of knitting, community and fun: all small crafts are welcome… knit, crochet, sew, spin, weave…bring your current project or shop for a new project. Make progress on your WIP, get answers to your crafty questions, and chitchat with fun, interesting people.
*Knit Night start time is 4:00 pm and the shop is open during knit night. Bring a chair!

We’ll announce the teachers, workshops and schedule for our elegant and cozy Knitter’s Retreat from the winter chill. Spend Friday, Saturday and Sunday January 8, 9, & 10, 2027 in downtown Lancaster, PA with extraordinary teachers in an extraordinary setting!

FREE Workshop: Absolute Beginner’s Knitting

Learn to cast on, knit and increase and decrease in this FREE Knitting Workshop! The Sophie Scarf is worked back and forth in one piece, from tip to tip in garter stitch with built-in i-cord edges. The smaller size Sophie Scarf reaches around the neck once, while the larger size can wrap around the neck twice. A yarn purchase is required to participate in this workshop.
