I'm ready! I'm back in NYC about to head over to the New York Film Festival for the Godzilla Minus Zero premiere. I actually lived in NYC for around 3 years a little while back. Most people I talk to hate NYC because it's busy, loud, dirty, and dangerous but I love it. It's so lively and full of activity. Theres so many things to see and do. So much art and personality. As much as I miss it I can't see myself living here ever again. I wasn't even off my first subway ride and a crazy person was yelling about a woman he murdered and watched die. Yikes. If I ever live in a big city again it's going to be Tokyo. Stay tuned for my Godzilla Minus Zero review.

Rated R for bloody content and violent images?! A Godzilla movie?! I just became more excited for this. 3 more days until I see it! Who here is about to take their child to their first R rated movie? Unfortunately my son is too young to enjoy any movie in the theater. It would've been one of my proudest moments as a parent to enjoy this with him. Some day.

Unfortunate news. This gigantic female mata mata turtle was just shipped out today before we could even display it in the shop. We had a 300 gallon ready for her on the upcoming fish side of the shop but we decided we needed the money more than an awesome display. I was excited for everyone to see her. Oh well, hopefully we come across another impressive animal to display.

This art has existed since I had my first shop in Milwaukee and has recently been updated for use at Giant Radioactive Turtle Reptiles and More. This art has a story behind it. When I first got Asteroid our alligator snapping turtle, he decided to crawl out of his aquarium and into the one next to him which contained a very cool snake neck turtle. He was a bad boy and decided he'd eat him. This is what was left of the snake necked turtle in the morning. Other turtles make up a portion of alligator snapping turtles diets in the wild. I was angry and impressed.

From time to time I get asked why I don't have Raphael on the front of the store with the others. I've been sitting on him for a while. The team is complete. I'll get around to stickers and stuff for these guys someday. I have a lot of designs I haven't been using I need to put on store merch.
