Can you help us help the animals at ACARF? If you have been thinking about rounding up some donations for Second Chance, now is the perfect time to do that. This is our back room, and as you can see, it is empty. We have nothing more to put out into our store right now. We need your stuff to keep our doors open. Please?

Second Chance has NINE punch bowls we would like sell. I have one I inherited from my mom in my cabinet, so I could make it an easy ten. It has moved with me three times and has been used just a few times...a couple weddings (including my own 49 years ago), a couple showers. Surely a punch bowl could be used more often than that, right? So, I checked with my trusted source, Pinterest!
1. Use your punch bowl to chill ice cream, wine, or carafes.
2. Pull out that punch bowl at Halloween.
You can fill it with candy or other treats for your guests.
Or add wet spaghetti noodles and fake eyeballs for a fun (and ewey) sensory “slimy brains and eyeballs” dig Halloween game for kids.
3. Punch Bowls are Perfect for Floating Candles
Antique punch bowls are wonderful for floating candles. That’s because most have cut-out design patterns that look awesome with the candlelight. And their wide opening provides room for multiple candles to float around the bowl.
Imagine how pretty that would look in the middle of your table.

Second Chance sales are booming. July, 2026 was our highest sales month ever! A great big thank you to our donors and volunteers. We couldn't do it without you.

Second Chance Sidewalk Sale Specials.
Saturday, August 1
Our doors will open at 8:00 AM.

The first FIFTY people that make a purchase will have an opportunity to draw for a discount.
There will be:
TWO 50% winners
FIVE 40% percent winners
EIGHT 30% winners
FIFTEEN 20% winners
TWENTY 10% winners

You will not draw until your items are totaled up.
You cannot do more shopping after you draw.
You may pay for the merchandise and then go shop for more items and then draw again.
Come early and take your chance for a great discount.
