Hello! The Brushed with Beauty designer series paper is so lovely and of another era.

It reminds me of 1930s Depression era wallpaper and dress material. I think it is the muted colors of the flowers and the use of crumb cake as the main neutral color in the patterns. It’s not white or vanilla for the main neutral.

I love how the patterns in the paper pack go so well together. You can make a quilt like look with the stack, cut, shuffle technique with this DSP.

I love it so much that I ordered a second pack of it with the Stampin’Up 15% off select DSP and cardstock sale! You can never have too much of this gorgeous vintage DSP and the other DSP packs on sale! See link in first comment.🌼

Happy Wednesday! Look at all these wonderful, beautiful cards! Several of my stamping customers and friends participated in my Summer Card Swap in the last couple weeks.

The first photo shows all the cards they initially sent me. Each participant stamped five cards for the swap. I then mailed the cards out to each of the participants so they got five different cards in the mail over a couple weeks.

It’s so fun to get fabulous ideas for cards from each other and to receive actual mail in the mailbox! Join us in the next time we have a Card Swap!

Happy New Week! Look at the incredible variety in these sunflower cards! The Sunflower embossing folder continues to be one of my very favorite Stampin’Up products for making very stunning and artistic cards.

I am wowed by the possibilities every time I create with it, just by varying the color of cardstock or DSP and the ink pads.

General directions -
- cut several 5” x 3 3/4” colors of cardstock and patterns of DSP that you like (patterns on DSP work best if subtle, fairly small or swirled
- emboss these pieces of cardstock and DSP with sunflower embossing folder

- work with each piece separately. Swipe
3 different colors of ink pad across embossed surface.
- same color as cardstock
- a darker version/hue of the first color
- another similar color or an accent color that really stands out!

If you don’t have this embossing folder yet, you need it! I swear you’ll be feeling like an artist after your first card made using it and you won’t be able to stop creating tons of color variations! It’s so fun!

Happy Friday! How cool is this shadow box card? And it looks much more complicated than it really is - if you can cut 1” squares out of DSP, you can do it!

I’ve been seeing these shadow box cards all over online so I wanted to try them in my stamp clubs this week. This was my sample card. You need to use a small pattern on your DSP for best results. This transitional fall pattern in the Floral Charm DSP pack is perfect!

-Cut 12 1” squares of your DSP.
- Cut 12 1” squares of cardstock in the darkest color in your DSP pattern - basic black, early espresso (used on this card), night of navy, secret sea, mossy meadow etc.
***don’t choose a DSP pattern that doesn’t have a very dark color somewhere in the pattern***

- glue individual DSP squares to dark cardstock squares with bottom left corner offset
- arrange 12 double layer squares on 5 1/4”x 4” cardstock, get the look you want
- adhere double layer squares by starting with left corner and working your way out diagonally towards the right top corner, one layered square at a time
- add sentiment and embellishment
- Voila! Stunning, eye catching card!

The Floral Charm DSP pack is still available. Great choice for transitional to fall patterns for your cards!

Hello! Are you a purple lover? If you are, you need the very lovely suite that features not 2, not 3, but 4 purple and purplish blue colors!

This beautiful card features the Violet Dreams DSP and the Framed Violets stamp set and coordinating dies. It was designed by Janet from my Tuesday stamp club and she showed us all how to create it in club this week. Thanks, Janet! 💜💜💜
