Tis the season for fireworks. Here are few safety tips to help keep you and your family safe.

1. Never allow young children to handle fireworks.
2. Older children should only use them under close adult supervision.
3. Never use fireworks when impaired by alcohol or drugs.
4. Never hold lighted fireworks in your hand.
5. Only use fireworks away from people and buildings.
6. Keep water nearby.
7. Do not try to re-light or handle malfunctioning fireworks.
8. Soak both spent and unused fireworks in water for a few hours before discarding

Please use extreme caution when lighting fireworks! You can still light ground or driveway fireworks and still have a good colorful holiday. We have lots to choose from come on over to the stand and visit us.

Due to the extreme drought conditions, the City Council would like to remind everyone to exercise caution with fireworks this weekend. Anyone lighting aerial fireworks will be subject to a fine.
