Our July Kids Camp is now open for signups!

The second session of our Kids Summer Pollinator Camp is happening July 6-10, 2026. Throughout the week, kids will learn about pollinators, explore the bee yard, participate in creative activities, and spend time discovering the amazing role bees play in our environment.

We had a special visitor yesterday: Juliet Easlick from the Alabama Cooperative Extension Service - Jefferson County - Alabama Extension.

Juliet talked about the importance of biodiversity and pollination, and demonstrated how to do the Alabama Pollinator Census (everyone's invited to participate—we'll share more details soon). She also shared a book that we passed around and read from, and gave the campers some native plant seeds!
