🧼 Do you have an unused Arcadia Valley Soap Co gift card? How about an expired one from 2024? Well, if you do, I'm buying them back! I have no desire to take money from customers I didn’t earn. That’s just bad juju if I did that!

👀 Two ways for a refund:
1) Simply send me a screenshot of your gift card with the numbers visible and a mailing address where you'd like your refund check sent. The card can be expired, as I've been closed for so long I'll honor ones from 2024. I know you can post pictures of your grandbabies, so don’t tell me you can’t figure out how to send me a photo via FB. 🤦‍♀️

2) I'll have the soap shop open this Saturday, June 13th, 10am to 2pm. You're welcome to stop in and receive cash for your certificate, even if it's expired. I'll be doing several other openings in July also. If I have anything in stock you want, you can use your gift card, but there isn’t much.

🌸The reason for this is that I'm restructuring the three soap brands I work under and changing up the shop, so these gift cards are going away.

🌻Long time, no chat! I wanted to give an update on what is up with AVSoap.
Since February I took time off and fully expected to return this weekend actually for 🌸Mothers Day and Spring Festival. That didn’t happen obviously. Now I am looking at September/ October 2026. Life has taken some good and not so swell changes. Priorities are shifting again.

🙂Good thing- we have renters lined up for the buildings so I will focus on making them ready. You’ll see another dumpster out after Festival

😕Not so great - Colin goes to surgery next week and he will be down for at least 3 weeks. So May /June is all about having him healthy again. And since time moves faster than me, I might as well focus on winter for soapmaking come July/August to prep for Sept/October.

So that’s my update. I’ll post if I can reopen the website but right now everything is shut down. The stock that is left in the shop is being donated so when I do reopen, everything will be fresh. Thanks for reading! Deb

I promised Kelley Medley I would make more 🧚Sugar Plum Fairy bath bombs so she is making me work! 🤣

We need your help!

Two Lady Tigers—Braelyn Turnbough and Reese Brogan—will be competing at the state tennis tournament Thursday and Friday.

They will be leaving the school around 9:20-9:30am Wednesday, will head north on Main Street, and will head north on 21 at Town and Country.

Let’s paint the town black and gold and show our support in wishing the girls well in this exciting journey!

Thank you for your help! We hope to see you on the route Wednesday morning!

🌻Starting this evening is the 🎼🎶Arcadia Valley Mountain Music Festival🎶! A big THANK YOU to Kyle at Bearded Tree Care LLC who always takes such good care of our properties through out the year. He came in today to make sure the sidewalks were as clean as could be for the 💜❤️💙💚AV School Parade tomorrow morning 😍

🌦️Bad weather usually avoids the AV area, so please consider venturing out if you can tomorrow. The students have worked really hard putting together their floats plus many organizations and businesses create their own floats for the 99th Annual Parade. So rain or shine, come out and see what makes Fall fun in our little part of Southeast Missouri! 🍂🍁

The soap shop will not be open for the festival. Too busy fixing old buildings prior to winter. Did I mention I’m pretty good at tuck pointing?
