🍯🍬 Did you know that the first sweets date back to around 2000 BCE?

Long before sugar was widely available, people in 🇪🇬Ancient Egypt, 🇨🇳China, 🇬🇷Greece, and the 🌴Middle East coated fruits, flowers, and nuts in honey to create sweet treats.

Around 250 CE, people in 🇮🇳India became the first to make sugar crystals from sugarcane, marking the birth of true sugar-based candy.

🌴Arabs later refined crystallization techniques, creating some of the earliest sugar confections and caramel around 950 CE 🍮

The modern candy industry flourished during the Industrial Revolution. In 1847, 🇬🇧British doctor Joseph Fry created the first modern chocolate bar by pressing cocoa powder and sugar into a mold 🍪🍫

🚀And then, in the 21st century, 🇳🇱Chill Pepper created an entirely new kind of Sweets ….. a playful wooden celebration of candy, made for imagination and open-ended play!🥳 🍭✨

Tomorrow, we’re incredibly happy to be part of the Berry Best Mother’s Day Market 🍓✨

It will take place in my personal favorite spot in California — Dana Point Harbor ⛵️

Ocean air, sunshine, fresh breeze, green lawns, the sound of waves, beautiful yachts… along with delicious berry treats and drinks 🍒🐠🎶🍹🌼

Tomorrow we’ll be at the aesthetically beautiful, yet so cozy Dreamers’ Market from 10 AM to 3 PM 🌿 at Westcliff Plaza (1000 - 1150 Irvine Ave., Newport Beach, CA 92660).
