We are once again in need of your donation of gently used books. Please note that we do not accept magazines, encyclopedias, and VHS tapes.

Here are a few things to keep in mind which would really help us. Please:

- do not leave your donation by the door if we are closed,
- pack your donation in boxes or bags,
- use small bills when purchasing books.

We will be re-opening on Monday, August 18th! Come see us!

Your gently used books may be donated during our regular business hours. It would be especially helpful if you could drop off your donations on August 18th and 19th as we have extra volunteers to help out on those days.

The transition of the Irvine libraries from a county-operated to city-operated library system has begun. We are now closed and expect to re-open around August 4th when Heritage Park Library re-opens.

Please do not leave any donations at the bookstore while we are closed. Save your donations for when we’re back.

Heritage Park Library will be transitioning from a county library to a City of Irvine library. The library hours will change when the transition starts.

The Friends of the Library Bookstore will remain open through May 10th. Starting May 11th, the bookstore will be temporarily closed for the library’s transition. You’ll be the first to know when we’re ready to reopen.

Good news! We will be having another book sale on June 1st, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. We are very excited that our book sale will be part of the Irvine Fine Arts Center's Studio Arts Festival.

What to know:
- Cash only, small denominations appreciated.
- Please bring your own shopping bags.
- Since we'll be part of the Arts Festival, our books will be spread out a little. Art books will be near the art exhibits. Children's books will be in the library Community Room. General interest books will be on the library patio.
