We love being a part of The Laurel Marketplace! ❤️ This space is a collection of some of the BEST local goods around. So thrilled to see that they received Silver for the Best of Westmoreland County for the 4th year in a row for Health Food Store! 👏👏 We truly appreciate all of the support from the community & loyal customers! They work hard to fill the shop with so many small and local businesses that offer a plethora of products you can feel good about bringing into your kitchen and homes 💕 There truly is something special about knowing your farmers & makers!

Let me introduce you to Marigold….she is the creation of an amazing & super talented artist, Little Seed Linen (Kaitlin). Marigold is now a part of my family & I’m honored to have her.

Kaitlin is now offering a monthly subscription letter service where she is featuring a new doll, a sweet story & other interesting info meant to have the recipient reflect & slow the daily pace. In this hectic, fast paced life, a handwritten letter sent by US mail is a treat.

It was a long day processing green beans from my favorite maple farm friends, The Maple Lodge LLC. I love that the boys Eli & Jacob Wnek (& their parents) grow produce & sell to maintain the care of their 4H projects for the Westmoreland County Fair. It’s important to me to support these kids….they are our future farmers.

It also reminds me of my childhood & my Gram. Snapping & doing beans along with other veggies was a summertime chore I enjoyed. My freezer is now full thanks to the Wnek family!

Using my new paring knife from William Kalkbrenner _ Bladesmith made the task much easier. 🩶

Just in time for the Greensburg Night Market this evening we’re launching a BRAND NEW product that we’re obsessed with! After much research we located a pure, grass-fed tallow we feel confident utilizing in an 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘣𝘢𝘭 𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦. To get things started we’re introducing the 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗟𝗶𝗽 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗺. It is unflavored & unscented.

We’re working on developing a few different varieties of cold process soaps & will be bringing back our beloved “Gram’s Scrub Soap” too!!
