The Art of the Hive is a comprehensive, hands-on beekeeping course at the Queens County Farm Museum. In a 12-class series of instruction through a full season of beekeeping, you will achieve the capability of managing a hive, identifying problems before they become crises, and harvesting your own honey.

This is not a lecture series. You will suit up, open hives, spot the queen, and pull frames dripping with honey. By the final class, you’ll have done it all — from the first inspection to the last jar!
