✨Come visit our booth at Danby Food and Drink this afternoon! 4-7pm! We are going to be spending the morning going through the store and selecting items to bring that will be deeeeeeeeeply discounted... there's going to be some great stuff!

This is the last market that WE will be at this year (they have another in October!) and it looks like a beautiful ☀️ day with great music and 🍗 Silo Food Truck ! See ya there! ✨

Stunning! 🤩

Was just at Goldenrod Depot delivering fresh pots, and they are doing a stunning remodel! Part of which was moving my pots to Nancy Medsker’s gallery side. Gosh the place is not just amazing, it is classy too!

✨HipHipHooray! As I drove in this morning to get some work done I thought to myself - "man it would be nice to have a smoother entry into our parking lot"! Et voilà!✨

So we like to time our photo contest around peak local goldenrod bloom and we feel like that could be this week or maybe next week this year and we wanted to extend our deadline to cover all that is yet to turn gold!

So the NEW DEADLINE for submission is Sunday 9/20!
And we will announce the winner Sunday 10/4!

So let's see those goldenrod pictures and we hope you are enjoying getting outside!

*deadline extended! Photos due 9/20!* Happily announcing our 3rd annual goldenrod photo contest! It's wonderful to be out in nature and noticing the goldenrod coming into bloom and think: "hey! We've gotta do that photo contest again!" 🙂

We wholeheartedly believe that goldenrod deserves to be celebrated and appreciated for all that it offers, particularly after being wrongly associated with allergies for so long (thanks, ragweed). This plant is invaluable to our native pollinators and has numerous uses besides being a show-stopping beauty. We chose goldenrod to represent our store not only because it reminds us of home but because of its resilience, flexibility, abundance and vibrance.

Contest details:
*Submissions accepted until Sunday September 13th
*Winning photo announced Sunday September 27th
*Limit one photo per person
*Photos will be available for public viewing for 2 weeks
*Email photo to [email protected] (include your name, photo title, and optional story about the shot or goldenrod)
*Winner will receive a canvas or metal print (your choice) and have their winning photo on display in our store!
