The Black Dog brand represents two companies headquartered in North Carolina – Black Dog Technical Services, Inc. (Veteran-Owned) and Black Dog Solutions, LLC. We support the life science research community by providing a wide range of lab products, including laboratory instruments and consumables, as well as technical services for life science laboratories. The mission of Black Dog is to provide

quality technical service and lab products to our customers and to guarantee honesty, integrity, and respect in our offerings. Black Dog Technical Services, Inc. was founded in 2005 and has built its business by providing quality technical services and support for FLIPR® fluorescence readers, which are used for calcium assays. Black Dog offers various Service Contracts, Preventative Maintenance Contracts, as well as billable repair service for FLIPR® instrumentation. We have one of the largest inventory of spare parts for the FLIPR® 1, 2, and 3 systems, which enables us to consistently provide quality service in a timely manner. Since our beginnings, we have continued to improve on the capabilities and reliability of FLIPR® systems, while expanding our service offerings to cover additional laboratory instruments such as EMBLA® cell washers. Black Dog has also expanded to provide laboratory instruments for high-throughput life science research applications. Our instruments include microplate readers, high-throughput plate washers and more. In an effort to ensure superior results from your laboratory instruments, in 2008 Black Dog Solutions, LLC. began distributing quality laboratory consumables. We have partnered with leading lab product manufacturers such as Axygen®, Corning®, and Greiner® to provide our customers a wide range of laboratory consumables at reasonable prices. Our product range includes high throughput screening products such as microplates and robotic tips, pipette tips, microtubes, PCR products and sealing products.
