As his former teacher, Javion was intelligent, out-going, and held great character as a scholar. This is so saddening.

Jackson, when will enough be enough? When all the young males 14-25 are all gone? When will the gun violence stop? Who will hold these "heartless people" accountable for taking our young people lives?

A 19-year-old was shot and killed Thursday afternoon at an abandoned home on Woody Drive in South Jackson.

Now, the Jackson Police Department is trying to track down whoever is responsible for the crime.

The victim was identified as Javion Clinton. He was found in a wooded area behind the home with multiple gunshot wounds. The shooting occurred just before 1 p.m. Thursday.

Clinton had recently graduated from Forest Hill High School in May and had started a new job at the Coca-Cola Warehouse.

I'm thinking about opening my gift basket business again. I have seen so many beautiful baskets and other people bring the most creative ideas to life. One thing that made me close shop were the customers. I do NOT buy FAKE Coach, Marc Jacobs, MK, Nike, etc. products and make people pay $300. All my purses, perfumes, colognes, shoes, clothes, etc. were all real. That is why my baskets were costly. I can't buy a $200 Coach bag and sell you the entire basket for $50. Customers would order baskets and cancel when the order was finished. I just need to try a different clientele. Let's see how Arkansas and Tennessee treat me.
