Today and every day, we celebrate the spirit of community champions like Ron Busch of The Celtic Knot, who inspire us with their selfless acts of patriotism and dedication to our town! Thank you Ron, for always faithfully setting out and taking down the American flags up and down Main Street, for every appropriate holiday. 💍 The Story of the Claddagh Ring 💚

Over 300 years ago, in a little fishing village outside Galway, a man named Richard Joyce returned home after years in captivity. While enslaved, he had learned the art of goldsmithing.

To show his love and loyalty, he crafted a unique ring for his sweetheart: two hands holding a heart, topped with a crown.

🤝 The hands = friendship
❤️ The heart = love
👑 The crown = loyalty

From that moment, the Claddagh ring became a symbol of Irish heritage. Even today, the way you wear it tells a story, with the heart pointing outward meaning single, and inward meaning taken.
