If we all collectively admire our catches in this manner, think how healthy and more sustainable fisheries across the West would be. As a guide, hero shots are part of the deal to a certain extent but with summer temps as they are we cannot and should not raise any fish above the water line. This practice is addictive and so satisfying to see these beautiful creatures swim away with minimal trauma.
