In 1980, Nancy King opened Nandy's Candy with a dream of owning her own business and sharing her passion for sweets with our community. Now, over four decades later, we’re proudly continuing her tradition of serving a delicious selection of handcrafted chocolates and truffles to our amazing clients. To us, we believe that sweets are part of the best memories and everyday special moments for all ki

Today, our family was honored to award the first Nancy V. King Rotary Scholarship through the Jackson Rotary Club.

Some days aren’t about making candy or serving Snoballs—they’re about honoring those who inspired us and investing in the future they believed in so wholeheartedly.

Mom lived by the Rotary motto, “Service Above Self,” and believed deeply in education, mentorship, and helping young people achieve their dreams.

Congratulations to Zamaya as she begins her journey at the University of Mississippi, and to all of today’s scholarship recipients.

It was a wonderful celebration of Mom’s life and legacy —she would have been proud. ❤️

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms out there.

As I reflect on Mother’s Day last year, I realize how lucky I was when my flight was canceled and I unexpectedly spent the day with my mom. We laughed, talked, and of course shared bites of dark chocolate — her favorite. What felt like a simple day then has now become one of my most treasured memories since her passing.

Being a mom is joy, sacrifice, hard work, dedication, and unconditional love. Today I think about all the amazing moms I know — grandmothers, teachers, single moms, working moms, stay-at-home moms, bonus moms, business owners, caregivers, and the women who step in every day to love and support others.

As I take a bite of bark chocolate today in honor of my momma, and as the grateful mom of two boys, I’m reminded just how special motherhood truly is.

Wishing all the mommas a beautiful day filled with love, sweet moments, and memories to treasure. 💕🍫
