TOGETHER we make a difference!! The Shoppes of Uptown Jackson is proud to support one of our members, Amity Yoga, and our wonderful Jackson R-2 School District. But we need YOU!!

Amity has challenged our community to raise enough $$ for the JR2's Power Pack Program to support SIX students and their families for the entire school year - and if we know anything about Jackson, we know that community SHOWS UP!!!

1 student for a full year: $350
3 students: $1050 (Amity raised this in May)
6 students: $2100 (CHALLENGE ACCEPTED) 💪

Bring a mat, beach towel, or blanket and a bottle of water.
Arrive around 7:45 so you have time to check in and settle onto the turf.

If weather moves us indoors, we’ll meet in the JHS Event Center and enter from Jackson Boulevard. Watch our page and your email for an update.

Each pair gets a 3 layer cake they will learn to put together, fill, frost, and pipe decor on. Then they get to take it home to enjoy.

A little over a year ago we faced devastation when fire overtook buildings on S. High Street.
But then we came together.
Strong. Resilient. Empowered.

Rise+Rebuild, a block party held in June 2025, was born from a sense of compassion and solidarity. We showed up as a collaborative group of merchants and property owners to create something special and support the businesses affected by the fire. But the most amazing part….that YOU ALL showed up.

Rise+Rebuild was a reminder not just of what was lost, but of the community that stands behind us. Your support matters.

Every day we are thankful for our community, our customers, and even our families who *enjoy* the long hours, the stresses, and the ups and downs of owning a small business.

And this Thursday with hearts full of gratitude for you all, we were honored to accept an award for “Outstanding Economic Impact Project” from Missouri Main Street Connection, Inc. for last year’s Rise+Rebuild.

Nominated by Uptown Jackson Revitalization Organization, we accepted this great honor at MMSC’s annual conference in Springfield, Missouri.

Now, after another block party under our belt from this past June, with the new name of South High Summer Fest, we are confident that we stand strong as local small-business owners who are surrounded by the loving support of a wonderful community.

We look forward to the future of Uptown Jackson and all we can do - TOGETHER.
