👗✨ "How Low Can You Go?" ✨👗

This is one of the questions we get asked all the time...

**"Can my dress be taken in that much?"**

The answer is... **it depends on the dress**, but sometimes the transformation is amazing!

💕 This is an oldie, but it's still one of my favorite examples.

This gown originally started as a **Size 16**...

🪡 We altered it all the way down to a **Size 8!**

At the time this photo was taken, the only thing left to do was sew in support cups (that's what the yellow pins at the bodice are for 😉).

The best part?

✨ You would never know the dress had originally been eight sizes larger!

With careful alterations, the gown looked like it had been made just for her. It fit beautifully, flattered her figure, and she looked absolutely stunning at her event.

Every dress is different, and not every gown can be altered this dramatically. The construction of the dress, the fabric, lace, beading, and where the size needs to be removed all play a role in what's possible.

That's why I always recommend bringing the dress in for a fitting. I'll take a look, discuss your options, and let you know what can realistically be done.

💕 Sometimes the perfect dress isn't the perfect size—but with the right alterations, it can become the perfect fit!

💙 Take a Little Time for Yourself Today 💙

I know it's hard to take an entire day to relax, especially with busy schedules, work, kids, and all of life's responsibilities.

But I want to encourage everyone to find **just 30 minutes to an hour** today to do something that helps you recharge. ❤️

It doesn't have to be anything elaborate. It could be something as simple as:

🚶 Take a walk
📖 Read a good book
🚤 Enjoy a boat ride
🚗 Go for a relaxing drive
☕ Sit on the porch with your favorite drink
🌳 Spend time in nature
🎣 Go fishing
🧩 Work on a puzzle
🎨 Paint or color
🧶 Knit, crochet, or sew just for fun
🌸 Work in your flower garden
🛁 Take a warm bath
🕯️ Light a candle and listen to calming music
💆 Give yourself a facial (or lock yourself in your bedroom for a few minutes 😉)
🎬 Watch your favorite show
🐶 Take your dog for a walk
📱 Turn your phone off for an hour
🙏 Spend some quiet time in prayer or reflection

Sometimes the smallest break can make the biggest difference.
