📸✨ Celebrating Our Teachers at Jackson Elementary!

Last month, had the privilege of honoring the incredible educators at Elementary School during World Teachers’ Day. 🍎💛

We were proud to present a community outreach donation check to support the school’s Teacher Appreciation celebration — a small way to say “thank you” to those who dedicate their time, talent, and heart to our students every single day.

Pictured here are Assistant Principal Julie Tomich and Browse ’n Buy Director Lonnie Brown, sharing a moment of gratitude and community spirit as we recognize the hard work and dedication of the entire Jackson Elementary team.

The celebration included warm coffee, smiles, and heartfelt appreciation — reminding us how vital our teachers are to the strength and future of our community. ☕

🚒 Training + Teamwork in Action! 🔥

What a week at Browse ‘n Buy! Jackson Hole Fire/EMS brought the heat — literally and figuratively — the week of October 6. 💪

From Firefighter II and Ladders & Victim Rescue to Bleeding and Shock training, these heroes honed the lifesaving skills that keep our community safe every single day.

And when an actual electrical fire broke out on campus that week, this incredible crew responded in moments — swift, skilled, and ready. ⚡🔥

We’re beyond grateful for their dedication, courage, and the calm professionalism they bring to every call. Thank you, Jackson Hole Fire/EMS, for your service and for one unforgettable week of learning, leadership, and lifesaving action. 🙌

Demo day was a big step — heavy trucks, hard hats, and a whole lot of history in the dust.

We’re saying goodbye to what was, and getting ready for what’s next: a renewed space to serve our Jackson community even better.

✨ What a Sunday at St. John’s! ✨

👖 We came in our overalls, celebrated worship with Bishop Provisional Todd Ousley, and gave thanks for this joyful community.

📦 Together, we said goodnight to the old Browse ‘n Buy space and—with racks rolling, tables lifting, and plenty of teamwork—moved into our new temporary home at 160 N. Glenwood.

💛 A huge thank-you to everyone who showed up with strong hands and big hearts. We couldn’t have done it without you!

🎈 The moose on the porch and balloons mark a bright new chapter for Browse ‘n Buy. We can’t wait to see what’s ahead in this new space and to keep serving our community together.

Big news for Jackson’s community hub! 🛍️🥫

Our beloved thrift shop is about to grow—and so is its impact. The Town Council has approved a new, larger building downtown, nearly tripling the size of Jackson’s oldest secondhand store.

✨ What’s coming:

A bigger retail space for Browse ’n Buy, offering more thrifted treasures year-round.

One22’s Jackson Cupboard in a permanent, retail-like space, where clients can choose groceries with dignity.

Offices, staff apartments, and a dedicated recovery-community meeting space.

As Lonnie Brown, outreach coordinator and Browse ’n Buy director, said:

“I think everybody in the room recognizes the significance and the impact we make … at just a broader scale that’s going to just make people’s lives easier.”

And the best part? Browse ’n Buy stays open during construction 🙌. While the new space is built, you’ll find us at 168 North Glenwood (next door to the church).

Together, this expansion ensures more shopping, more sharing, and more support for our Jackson community. 💙

“There’s just been such an air of warmth and lightness and love in this room. It is something that is rarely felt during our hearings,” Councilor Jonathan Schechter said immediately prior to the vote. “I know of no other institution in this community that walks its talk the way that St. John's does, and I think that this hearing is a reflection of that, and the admiration and love we feel for the church.”

Get ready for more browsing and more buying. Jackson community members and visitors are set to be offered a larger selection of thrifted items downtown.
