A Vampyre Comes to Baker Street West! (Again!)
Author Jeri Westerson writes the Irregular Detective Mystery series featuring Tim Badger, a former Baker Street Irregular, and his crime-solving partner, Ben Watson, as they endeavor to emulate the investigative methods of their mentor and benefactor, Sherlock Holmes.
In The Vampyre Client, the strange Mister Jonathan Wicker comes to Badger & Watson with a most unusual request: He begs them to convince the villagers of Ashwell that he is not a vampyre!
Then tragedy strikes . . . And suddenly, Badger & Watson have a case they can truly sink their teeth into!

Meet Dracula!

If you have spent much time at Baker Street West, there is a very good chance you have already encountered Conor O'Neill in one guise or another. But you have never seen him quite like this!

Conor has played Scrooge not once, but twice, in Baker Street West's productions of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. He has also donned a medical bag and a revolver to portray Dr. John Watson in Sherlock Holmes and the American Problem, and he took on multiple characters in Ken Ludwig's wonderfully madcap Baskerville.

And then there was Moriarty where Conor played seven different roles, including the great villain himself, Professor Moriarty!

His adventures have extended beyond the stage as well. On film, Conor portrayed the mysterious Dead Man found in the Diogenes Club in Sherlock Holmes and the Headless Bishop, and the Engineer on the Train in Sherlock Holmes and the True Believer.

But when the curtain falls and the camera stops rolling, Conor is perhaps at his most dangerous. Behind the scenes, he is a gentleman of considerable hijinks, mischief, and theatrical mayhem. One never quite knows what Conor is going to be up to next ~ which makes him unpredictable and particularly well suited to his latest role.

Because this time, Conor O'Neill isn't playing Watson.

He isn't playing Scrooge.

He isn't playing Moriarty.

He's playing Dracula.

And if you've seen Conor on our stage before, you already know this:

You'd better watch out.

Meet the Baker Street Player from Sherlock Holmes vs. Dracula ~ Leslie Creighton Plank

Leslie Plank appears in the role of Inspector Lestrade. Leslie has enjoyed a great deal of time both in front of and behind the curtain throughout their high school and college career on the East Coast. They took a long hiatus and did not have an opportunity to return to theatre until they moved to Amador County about 9 years ago. Since then, Leslie has been delighted to take part in a number of Afternoon Tea Mysteries and Dinner Mystery Theatres at Baker Street West before taking on the scripted roles as a part of the Baker Street Players.

Meet the Baker Street Player from Sherlock Holmes vs. Dracula ~ Izzy Waring.

Izzy is thrilled to return to the stage as Lucy Westenra (one of her favorite literary baddies) after first playing her in EGAD's 2016 production at the age of 15. Since then, Izzy has participated in Shakespeare, musicals, children's theatre, and just about everything else in between. She invites both fans of detectives and vampires alike to attend this show. She promises a frightfully good time. "Don't be afraid, don't be afraid. Come take my hand and let me lead thee."
