Hi everyone! Ive got some great news on the stores progress. My website is now live! www.tightlinestackleandfly.com. Check it out, I think it came out great! Feel free to contact me if you notice any functionality issues with it. Also, (and even more exciting!) I’ve signed the lease and taken posssesion of 613 S. Hwy 49 in Jackson. That’s in the Motherlode Plaza by Highway House Restaurant. I already started working on some minor interior updates. Still targeting mid April for grand opening! It’s gonna be a Merry Fishmas! I’ll post progress photos as I make progress. I’m so stoked!

That's Fishy!

A Largemouth Bass has one of the most efficient metabolisms on the planet. It takes approximately 10 pounds of food for a bass to gain just 1 pound of body weight! Compare that to most humans, where if you even look at a pound cake you've gained 10 pounds!

Special shout out to my buddy Nate who landed the 8.8 pounder featured in this post out at Clear Lake last weekend! A new PB for him! Nice catch buddy!

Hey everyone! I'm thrilled to share an exciting update about the store. I'll be located at 613 Hwy 49, in Jackson, CA, within the rustic Motherlode Plaza. This week marked the beginning of a new chapter as demo work started on the flooring and built-in displays from the previous tenant. I can’t wait to move in on March 2nd to kickstart the remodel and install store fixtures. Here's a photo of the store front and the first progress photos. I’ll be sharing more as we progress!

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!

Good morning fellow anglers. Have you ever caught a beast of a fish and thought “too bad this isn’t a derby”? Coming soon, I will be launching a Catch of the Month program. Anyone who posts a photo of thier catch will be entered to win a $50 gift card to my store as well as a TLT Catch of the Month tee shirt and bragging rights! Winners photos will be posted in the store. Any freshwater fish caught within a certain distance from the store will qualify. (Qualifying distance to be determined) Rules of entry and submission instructions will be posted prior to the launch of the monthly contest!

Now you have a chance to win “Big Fish” without being a part of a club or entered in a tournament.

That’s Fishy!

Fish use a variety of low-pitched sounds to convey messages to each other. They moan, grunt, croak, boom, hiss, whistle, creak, shriek, and wail. They rattle their bones and gnash their teeth. However, fish do not have vocal chords. They use other parts of their bodies to make noises, such as vibrating muscles against their swim bladder.*
