PSA post!
Guys!!! This week, teach your kids and spouses how to get towed!!! Its a simple thing to show them how to ride brakes if they get stuck in the road!!
On the way home, saw a lady stuck in the middle of traffic. I always carry a 6' length of chain in the truck, because (FB marketplace might win sometimes)
I was able to get in front, hook up the chain, and drag her truck to a gas station, off the road and out of traffic.
She had never been taught how! She held the brakes like it was life or death. I drive a 400hp diesel, so with tires squealing we made it safely to the apron.
Nobody is hurt, she's home safe. But if someone had taught her how to get pulled safely, we would have been done quicker and safety, and not left those skid marks up the ramp!!
I just want everyone to get home safe. Teach them youngins how to do it right. The life you save may be theirs. There's good people everywhere.
