✨ FABULOUS FIND OF THE DAY ✨

Now THIS is the kind of piece that makes me stop in my tracks.

This Antique Eastlake Clock Cabinet is absolutely dripping with Victorian character. From the elaborate carved woodwork and bold architectural silhouette to that incredible twisted spindle detail across the top, there is something fascinating to discover from every angle.

Eastlake furniture became popular during the late Victorian era and is known for its distinctive geometric carving, incised decoration, turned details, and emphasis on craftsmanship. This cabinet has all of that wonderful old-world personality, with a beautifully aged finish and patina that only time can create.

Originally designed to house a clock movement and dial, today it could be displayed purely as an architectural antique, repurposed into a wonderfully unusual cabinet, or become the centerpiece of a collection. Personally, I think pieces like this are at their best when you allow all those bumps, scratches and signs of age to remain. That’s the story. 🤎

It’s unusual. It’s ornate. It’s wonderfully imperfect.

And it is exactly the kind of relic I LOVE finding.

I was curious to know how my design style would be defined so I asked Belvedere (my chatgpt) to see what he would say and I think it came out pretty spot on......

This striking pair of vintage chrome wire lounge chairs brings instant mid-century modern style to any space!
