I am beyond grateful for the incredible work completed on my home by Mr. Robin Garcia.

🍂🌿 A huge thank you to of Sir Stumps-A-Lot Regenerative Land Services for delivering a fresh load of mature leaf mulch to Lovingkindness Farm today! 🌿🍂

Most people think of mulch as simply something to make a garden look nice, but not all mulch is created equal.

This isn’t dyed wood mulch. It isn’t fresh chips. This is mature leaf mulch—a biologically active material that has already begun the process of becoming soil.

Why am I so excited about it?

🌱 In the short term, it helps retain moisture, reduces watering needs, suppresses weeds, protects soil from Florida’s intense summer heat, and provides habitat for beneficial organisms.

🪱 In the long term, it slowly breaks down into rich organic matter, feeds earthworms, supports fungi and beneficial microbes, improves soil structure, increases water infiltration, and builds healthy living soil from the ground up.

This is exactly how nature creates fertile soil in a forest—one layer of fallen leaves at a time.

🌿✨ A little glimpse of the future of Lovingkindness Farm ✨🌿

Today I finally set the location for the future passionflower arch that will welcome visitors into our farm stand area. The cattle panel is ready, the plans are taking shape, and I’ve ordered many of the supplies needed for the next phase of the farm.

Soon, this space will be transformed into a living archway covered in two incredible passionflowers:

💜 Purple Possum Passionfruit
🌿 Giant Granadilla Passionfruit

I can’t wait to watch them climb, bloom, and eventually produce fruit. My hope is that this entrance becomes a beautiful gathering place for pollinators, people, and community—a place that reflects the heart of Lovingkindness Farm.

The farm stand is on its way, the irrigation upgrades are underway, the h**p hoop house is coming together, and every day this little dream grows a little bigger.

What you’re seeing now is just the beginning. 🌱
