Can we chat for a moment?
The reality of running a small business…
People see the finished product—the pretty details, the smiles, the celebrations, and the final result. What they don’t always see are the costs behind the scenes: materials, equipment, software, packaging, gas, shipping, and all the expenses that quickly add up.
But the biggest investment is time. It’s the hours spent designing, creating, answering messages, making adjustments, shopping for supplies, fixing mistakes, and perfecting every detail. It’s the evenings and weekends, the time away from family, and the countless hours that come from truly caring about your work. Sometimes, you learn the hard way that not everyone sees the value in your time, talent, creativity, and effort. But those lessons have taught us a few things.
Our time has value. Our work has value. And the passion for what we do has value.
Running a small business isn’t always easy, but every happy customer, beautiful event, heartfelt “I LOVE it,” referral, and person who trusts us with something important reminds me why we do what we do. ❤️
