Dear Cycle Oregon, Community and Partners,
We had such a wonderful time hosting Cycle Oregon in Jacksonville this week! It was a joy to see so many happy sun-kissed faces bring energy and smiles to our town.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this event such a resounding success:
- Black Barn & Bigham Knoll: Thank you for providing such beautiful venues.
- Amy & Happy Alpaca: Thank you for coordinating the hard-working youth for the Tuesday and Wednesday breakfast green team.
- Jason Williams & Jacksonville/Applegate Rotary: Thank you for organizing breakfast service on Tuesday and lunch service at Cantrell on Monday.
- Steve Levesque: Thank you from the bottom of my heart for coming through with volunteers for both breakfast and dinner services Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
- Ann, Laura, Karen and Linda: thank you for being our dinner service green team Monday and Tuesday night.
- David Browder & Siskiyou Velo Biking Club: Thank you for helping recharge electric bikes for the riders each day. I’m sure they appreciated your time and attention.
- Casey Botts & AshlandDevo: We are forever grateful for the volunteers provided for lunch service at the Lithia Park bandshell and the rest stop at Shale City.
- Don Litchfield & The Chamber: Thank you for procuring and returning the decorative w**e barrels, bringing bikes back to be dismantled, organizing the volunteer opportunity for riders and families at the history center, manning the community booth and serving as a great spokesman for Jacksonville.
- Larry Smith: Thank you for speaking on Monday evening and sharing a wealth of knowledge about Jacksonville history. Having your booth on Monday and Tuesday was most helpful in answering everyone’s questions .
- Our Trolley Drivers: Thank you for providing history tours, w**e tours, happy hour shuttles, and even shuttling riders back to Grants Pass on Tuesday night to avoid the rain!
- Kris Knox: Thank you for creating the Pedal Pass and obtaining the drawing prizes. The drawing was a huge hit with the riders. Thank you for creating and installing the “Pedaling into History” banner at Bigham Knoll.
