So many books are coming to the screen this year!🤯📚

☀ Oscar-nominated actress Florence Pugh (Little Women, Midsommar, Dune 3, Marvel Cinematic Universe) stars as Cathy Ames, one of the most iconic characters in American literature whose femme fatale portrayal has been examined and debated by generations of readers of Steinbeck’s classic.

☀ Steinbeck’s East of Eden will be adapted by Netflix into a seven-episode limited series, written and executive produced by Zoe Kazan (The Big Sick, She Said, The Ballad of Buster Scruggs), the granddaughter of Elia Kazan, who directed the 1955 film starring Jo Van Fleet and James Dean.
