The history of this building is amazing. It housed the Knollenberg Bros factory, one of the many cigar factories in Jacksonville.

I’ve heard many ideas of what this buildings next future may look like. Any ideas?! Interested in making your mark in downtown Jacksonville IL?! The building is still for sale and ready for its next chapter!

It’s hard to explain the state of our renovation. I’d say it’s 95% complete but my vision is 70% complete. In the 5% that’s not finished is landscaping, paint touch ups, trim paint and the vestibule.

The 30% of the vision that isn’t complete is in the details. Added built ins, perfecting paint colors (firm believer of living in a space before knowing what paint colors work), decor, art, etc.

Home -not an HGTV episode- takes time but we are getting there little by little.

After MONTHS, I finally finished the curtains in our pantry. I’m thrilled with how it turned out.
