It’s been a while! I haven’t properly introduced myself around here in a very long time, so hi, I’m Bryanne, founder and designer behind Fleurish Felt Flower Co. 🤍
I started using felt to make flowers in 2011, long before I had any idea they would turn into a business with two books, countless handmade blooms, wholesale and retail customers, weddings, flower bars, workshops, and a studio that is always piled with flowers and felt scraps.
I grew up in a small town with a slower pace, surrounded by nature and a yard full of plants and flowers. I’ve always loved getting up close and personal with a flower, noticing the shape of a petal, the way a stem bends, and all the tiny details that make one variety different from another. The longer I do this, the more I realize how much those early years shaped me, and how naturally that way of looking at flowers found its way into Fleurish.
Over the years, Fleurish has grown beyond just my two hands and into a small studio with some help behind the scenes. And somehow, fifteen years in, I still get genuinely excited by it all- figuring out a new flower, landing on an unexpected color combination, watching a finished bunch come together on the table, or sending flowers to places I’ll never go myself.
I also still love watching people discover felt flowers for the first time, especially that little moment of surprise when they realize what they’re made of. And I love getting to share this creative process with others, watching them experience the joy of turning a few simple pieces of felt into a flower of their own. Magic!
I’m still fascinated by what this wonderfully simple material can become, and I think that’s a big part of why I still love this work so much.
If you’re new here, hello. I’m so glad you found Fleurish. And if you’ve been here a while, I’d love to know when you first found us.
