A one-of-one Patrick Famin Gentleman's Out the Front (G.O.T.F.) built with exceptional materials and stellar craftsmanship.

We acquired this piece directly from Patrick at Blade Show West on October 9, 2026. It features a 3.15" Damasteel Damacore dagger blade, Black Timascus bolsters, mirror-polished zirconium scales, and a ceramic-treated 7475 aluminum chassis with blue-anodized titanium hardware.

This is a full-custom, sole-author piece, that must be experienced to appreciate how good it is 💯.

Three awards at Blade Show West 2026. 🏆⚔️ 👏👏👏

Huge congratulations to Kelly Vermeer-Vella on an incredible showing this weekend taking home Best Fixed Blade, Best of the Rest, and Best in Show.

The Push Dagger pictured here earned both Best of the Rest and Best in Show, and seeing it in person made it easy to understand why. The blade work, materials, and overall ex*****on are on another level. Not to mention a custom sheath worthy of a winner.

It was also great that the WBKC team got to spend some time hanging out with you guys during the show. Always good to catch up with great people who also happen to make exceptional knives.

Well deserved, Kelly. 👏

We met Kris Eliuk of Yellowday Energy today at Blade Show West, and his custom flashlights immediately caught our attention.

Based in Alberta, Canada, Kris builds some seriously impressive EDC flashlights with beautiful machining, unique designs, and incredible attention to detail. We appreciated his craftsmanship so much that we ended up buying one ourselves!

Always great meeting talented makers and discovering something new we really like. Check'm out.

Today at Blade Show West, I caught up with custom knifemaker Patrick Famin to talk about how he builds his OTFs from the inside out. ⚙️⚔️

Patrick walks through the construction and mechanics behind his custom OTFs, including the two pieces he made specifically for We Buy Knife Collections. Both combine Razor Wire GoMai Damascus, polished black zirconium, and mother-of-pearl, but hearing Patrick explain the work behind them gives you a much better appreciation for what goes into the finished knives.

Always better hearing the story directly from the maker.

We will have four of Patrick's Blade West OTFs available next week.
