Trollhiem LLC is a new company dedicated to teaching traditional crafts, experimental archeology and having a place to hold living history events for all time frames and cultures. To this end the plan is for Trollhiem LLC to use a site in Early County Georgia as a school for traditional crafts and a living history campground. A planned future use for the site is to use it as an open air living his

tory museum when the staff and facilities can be developed sufficiently. The Location of Trollhiem LLC:

The property in question is located in Early County Georgia on County Road 310 near the intersection of Georgia Highway 273 (looking at Google Satellite Maps the property starts about where the tree line ends to the south and goes to the change in vegetation to the north, the west border is the County Road 310 and the east border is just inside the far tree line to the east). It will be possible to lease or buy another sixty to two hundred adjacent acres as needed. Why is Trollhiem an LLC instead of a Not for Profit Corporation? When Jim originally had the idea of a school and campground on the land he inherited from his parents he did pursue the idea of forming a non-profit corporation. He sought advice from a professor at a prestigious business school and was told “This isn’t the type of project we are interested in doing.” He then sought advice from friends who had started non-profit groups and was told that he could have control to see his vision of the school happen or he could make a salary from the non-profit, but not both. Since Jim needs both a salary and wants to keep control of the project he chose to create a LLC with his daughter, Sonja. It did not look like Jim would be able to get the project off the ground due to a lack of funds until he found out about “Crowd Funding” and a possible path opened for him.

On this day, September 2, 1944, Navy pilot George Bush is shot down into enemy waters during World War II. He was rescued by the submarine USS Finback (SS-230).
George Bush joined the Navy on June 12, 1942, on his 18th birthday. He received his commission on June 9, 1943, becoming the youngest naval aviator of the time. During World War II, Bush flew torpedo bombers, completing 58 missions.

On a run over Chichi Jima in 1944, his plane was hit by anti-aircraft fire. Bush bailed out and was rescued by a Navy submarine, but tragically, his two crew members were killed. For his service during WWII, Bush was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and three Air Medals.

We did it! It took an entire week, a half dozen family members, blood, sweat, tears, yelling, laughing, and a lot of money but it’s finally done!
Jim Revells/ Olaf Trollhiemsfjord a long time member of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) passed several years ago, but his legacy lives on through his family and friends and MANY of his belongings will have a new life!
The founder and creator of The Guild of Osiris- Keagan Livingston, has helped not only our wallets, but our hearts by creating an SCA estate type sale for many of our Father’s belongings! ❤️
I received this message last night from her!!
“Hello and good evening!
I just got back from an event and just wanted to give you an update 🙂 
I was able to sell about 75% of the books, about 25% of the garb, and the shoe forms!
Some people knew your dad, but a lot of people were super grateful to be given the chance to give everything a second life.
Another cool note, but the King came up and bought anything coloring book or craft related to give to the children of the kingdom at various events 🙂”

Sonja and Dawn Revells here. For those of you who remember my Father Olaf Trollhiemsfjord aka Jim Revells.

Well, we are finally coming to Vermont (From Florida)
to go through his HUGE storage unit in Wilmington, Vermont.
We think there will be books of interest to Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) members, many science fiction books, some rare, books on medieval history, cooking and black smithing.
There will probably be period cookware, blacksmithing materials and jewelry making tools and we don't know what else.
Many of his over 15,000 books will go to one of his grand daughters who is an avid reader, however there will be MANY that will not and we'd like to sell them to people who would appreciate them, than send them to auction.
We aren't capable of taking everything from his storage unit back with us and need to recoup some of the cost of paying on the 10'x30' storage unit, all these years.
We will be in West Dover (10 minutes from Wilmington), Vermont starting around Wednesday evening in 48 hours ….
to begin the process of going through everything.
