Jameson & Thompson Picture Framers was established in 1985 by Dwight Jameson and Bill Thompson in the Boston neighborhood of Jamaica Plain. Since then, our team has continued its tradition of excellence in custom and conservation framing, corporate and gallery installation, and art consultation. Over the past 40 years, we have grown steadily, building a loyal following throughout the metro Boston

area. We are incredibly proud of our highly skilled staff, most of whom are graduates of Boston's great local art schools. In 2016, Jameson & Thompson joined forces with Adjective Art & Framing, located in Stoughton, MA. Adjective Art & Framing was established in 2011 by Alexander Jacobson and provides top-quality framing for many local artists, galleries, museums, and collectors. In tandem with AA&F, we can deliver outstanding products with a much faster turnaround and handle larger, more complicated projects with ease! In early 2020, Jameson & Thompson moved to a new location at 18 Bartlett Square, Jamaica Plain, MA. This new location offers many needed features: dedicated parking, ground floor access, and a larger exhibition space. This new space allows us to continue to thrive while remaining in our home for 35 years: Jamaica Plain. We're excited about this new step, which puts us in an excellent place for the shop's future.

What a joy it is to open our doors to a group of undergraduate students from SMFA! This exhibition is the culmination of their year long studio based course and these students have been working hard to get their work on the wall.
