Every performance venue eventually reaches a point where evolving production demands outgrow the infrastructure that supports it. That was the challenge facing New York City's Baryshnikov Arts Center, where technically complex theatrical, dance, and multimedia performances were beginning to expose the limitations of an aging audio infrastructure.

The Dale Integration Services team took on the task, updating the system to an audio-over-IP powerhouse featuring solutions from Yamaha Professional Audio, Shure, Pliant Technologies, Studio Technologies, Point Source Audio, and Luminex Network Intelligence. Long Island area Live Sound Engineers / House of Worship Tech Directors: this one’s for you!

We’ll be with our friends from Waves Audio on Wednesday, September 9 for LV1 Snapshots, a hands-on workshop exploring the LV1 Classic mixing platform and its applications in real-life workflows for live sound and broadcast in houses of worship.

Acclaimed live sound engineer and church audio educator Jeff Sandstrom will lead the session, alongside Waves Live Sound specialists. This is also a great opportunity to connect with other house-of-worship audio engineers, tech personnel, and team leaders in your area.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our longtime colleague and friend, Milton Rivera, who passed away at the end of last month.

Milton was part of the Dale Pro Audio family for more than 20 years, managing our parts department with a level of knowledge, patience, and detail that was unmatched.

For over two decades, Milton embodied the service, support, and relationships that define Dale Pro Audio. We are grateful for the years we were able to work alongside him, and we will miss him greatly. Our thoughts are with Milton’s family, friends, customers, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

If any of you have any fond memories of Milton, we'd love to hear them.
