This medium light St. Croix blank worked great for this panfish rod. 6'6" length, carbon fiber split grip, recoil guides. We went with a black on black color scheme with a subtle charcoal trim band, for just a bit of contrast. It was a lot of fun to use some materials that I have used before and learn the intricacies of them.

It's been a process with this 6'6" medium light, but the final coat is on. This rod was built on a St. Croix blank, fifth carbon fiber grips, and Recoil guides. Was a fun build for sure. We will add more pictures once she has dried.
