Re*****on 1100 came in, customer stated that it would not cycle the next round, just had tried several repairs and part swaps before bringing to us.

Test firing confirmed that the action was not moving at all. On disassembly we determined that one of the gas rings was installed backwards. This will limit the gas pressure to cycle the action. Completed a second test fire and the firearm short cycled, the action would move about halfway. Back on the bench we went through the firearm polishing rough spots on the action, oiling wear points and looking at the bag of "spare" parts to see what version of aftermarket action spring was put in. Eventually we found all of the original action spring parts and put them back in the firearm.

Test fire followed by a clean and oil. This 1100 is ready for dove season!

We had a Re*****on Versa Max come in, customer stated that the bolt wouldn't stay open and carrier wouldn't activate. We disassembled the firearm and dermined that the roo cause was a missing carrier dog spring and strut as you can see in the first picture. We also noticed the firearm had been generously oiled, but probably rarely clean (pic3) . In addition the stock bearing plate (Re*****on call is it a pivot block) was broken (pic 2) as well as some other missing/broken pieces.

Re*****on parts for this firearm were extremely difficult to find, but we were able to source them, we had to install an entire trigger group since the spring and strut are not available separately at this time. New parts and a deep clean and oil this Versa Max is ready for waterfowl season!

This will have a huge impact if the Governor signs it. Decisions based on fear, not technical knowledge.
