Elizabeth Welsh — Director of Operations

As Director of Operations at Greenspring, Elizabeth helps keep the day-to-day running smoothly while bringing plenty of energy, heart, and humor to the team.

Outside of Greenspring, Elizabeth is happiest chasing the sun and spending time outdoors. When she’s not on a sports field cheering on her boys, you can usually find her out walking, working in her garden, or soaking up as much sunshine as possible.

Elizabeth’s other passion is Porchsacpes, our seasonal porch styling company, where she serves as Team Lead and Designer. Porchscapes gives Elizabeth the chance to tap into her creative side, transforming porches with each season and bringing a vision to life. Her favorite part? That first reaction when a client sees their finished porch—she loves creating that wow moment.

Around Greenspring, Elizabeth rarely travels alone—her bestie, Mannie, is usually never far behind and has become just as much a part of the Greenspring family.

Todd Sexton - Delivery & Loading Specialist
Todd Sexton recently joined our team as a Delivery and Loading Specialist, bringing with him a
strong work ethic and a commitment to outstanding customer service. After retiring from a
distinguished 30-year career as a Maryland State Trooper, he was ready for a new challenge and
found a perfect fit at our nursery. In his role, he loads and delivers mulch, stone, sand, trees,
shrubs, and plants to customers and job sites, ensuring orders arrive safely and on time. He also
enjoys assisting homeowners and contractors at the nursery, helping them get the materials and
products they need for successful landscaping projects.
When he is not at work, Todd enjoys spending quality time with his family and making the
most of the outdoors. You can often find him fishing and crabbing from his boat, playing a round of
golf, working on woodworking projects, or camping. His friendly personality, dedication to helping
others, and lifelong commitment to service make him a valued member of our team and a familiar face to many of our customers.

Zack McCracken — Lead Mechanic & Fixer of All the Things

Zack wears two hats around here. He’s the Lead Mechanic for our sister company, Chesapeake Landscapes, but since we’re lucky enough to share the same property, he’s also become an honorary—and very useful—member of the Greenspring crew.

Zack is our resident fixer of all the things. On any given day, you might find him in the shop working on a truck or mower, troubleshooting whatever decided to stop working that day, or running around Greenspring helping Elizabeth with her latest request. If you happen to order one of our big landscape boulders, you might even be lucky enough to have Zack show up to deliver and place it for you.

When the workday ends, Zack doesn’t exactly leave his mechanic hat at the shop. He loves finding a good Marketplace deal, bringing it home, and figuring out how to fix it up.

When he’s not turning wrenches, Zack enjoys spending time with his kids and being outdoors—especially fishing and hunting.

Around here, if it’s broken, stuck, heavy, or we just can’t figure it out, chances are someone’s saying, “Go find Zack.”

Brad Georg is the owner of Greenspring Nursery & Stone. A lifelong Jarrettsville resident, Brad has worked in the local landscape industry since 2002. His experience and deep roots in the community guide Greenspring’s commitment to offering quality plants, natural stone, landscape materials, and dependable service to homeowners and contractors throughout the area.

Brad and his wife live in Jarrettsville with their three children, dog, and cat. Outside of work, he stays busy supporting his family’s sports and community activities and enjoys remaining connected to the community he has always called home.
