Prices have not increased this year (chocolates excluded…not a good year for cacao). We have a field of table-top trees (up to 4’) for $25 each. There is one field of Fraser Fir and one field of Douglas Fir with some trees individually priced starting at $20. Dogs are welcome to help you choose your family’s tree.

Opening Weekend is fast approaching! Nov 22 & 23 Winterfarm will be open at 9am until “dark”.

A Purple Martin house was installed Dec. 27th at Winterfarm, behind the caddy shack. The birdhouse was our holiday purchase. The video was taken a few days ago showing martins gathering and singing their dawn song. Today they’re gone! Migrating to Brazil? Safe traveling to our feathered free labor (who only ask for housing). We hope to see you again in Springtime.

Ready for Friday sales (opening at 10am). We still have a few very big trees. This photo shows a 14’ Nordmann Fir. Pre-cut trees under tents range from 7’ to 8 1/2’. Gary drove the cut-your-own fields today and believes we can keep those open through this Sunday. Maximum height in the fields is 7 1/2’. We have Fraser’s, Douglas Firs, and White Pines to cut.

Six to eight years to grow a tree?...if growing conditions are excellent, and that time does not include the age of the seedlings when planted. Grateful for the Strathmeyers and other growers in the Christmas tree industry - we need each other!

Strathmeyer Christmas Trees has plenty to choose from at the York Expo Center – including Douglas firs, Fraser firs and Colorado blue spruces.

Ready for Black Friday customers. Slate Farm Brewery will be here this and next weekend offering hard cider, beer and kettle corn. We open for tree sales at 8:30 am.
