Good News.....Bad News......
2 days ago Governor Lee signed into law Tennessee's first cannabis/hemp bill for Tennessee which goes in to affect July 1st. It's good news because it will legitimatize the industry and get rid of the counterfeit products being sold in convenience stores and the like. Hopefully it is also the first step in the long road to having cannabis legal in Tennessee. More good news....there will be a 6% privilege tax collected with each sale and that will add to Tennessee's tax base.
NOW FOR THE BAD NEWS......part of the new law requires all Delta retailers to be located 1000 feet or more from a school and as many of you know......I'm not.
JUNE 30TH WILL BE OUR LAST DAY TO SELL DELTA PRODUCTS AT BLAST OF THE PAST.
