August is recognized as Overdose Awareness month with the 31st being International Overdose Awareness Day.
Drug Overdose does not discriminate. It can happen regardless if the drug was a prescribed medication or if the drug was obtained without benefit of medical oversight. It can happen to the educated or someone less scholarly. It can happen to the wealthy or to someone with limited funds. It can happen quickly or over a slower progression of time.

This Glimmers of Love is dedicated to those past and present that have been affected by a Drug Overdose. You are in my thoughts.

Okay, okay, I know that the class of 2026 is just freshly graduated, but for those graduating in 2027, the future celebration awaits. This is the time where senior pics are being taken, college apps are in the works, and life choices are being made.
