Our Weathered Metal Finishes Workshop is back Tuesday, October 20, and we’re playing with some of our favorite ways to make an ordinary surface look beautifully aged.

Using Annie Sloan products, you’ll learn techniques for creating copper verdigris, rust, and zinc-inspired finishes, with plenty of layering, texture, and permission to get a little messy.

Friday, October 23 from 1–3 PM | $40
Choose your style and create a dimensional Story Square that feels completely your own using Chalk Paint and IOD clay, moulds, transfers and decoupage!

Ephemera Friday with Amy Meyer!
Friday, October 30 from 1–3 PM | $15 to register
Come create with dried flowers, stamps, transfers, tickets, old envelopes, quotes, and more with Ephemera master, Amy Meyer! Materials are purchased à la carte based on what you choose to use.

A pretty good reminder that a little paint can do a lot of good. 🤍

Last week, Jill was honored with the Hope Builders Award at River City Habitat for Humanity’s event, and we’re so proud of what our Helping Hands for Habitat partnership has become.

What started as a few pieces with potential has turned into something we genuinely love: finding furniture at the ReStore, giving it a second life with Annie Sloan Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®, and helping support Habitat’s work right here in our community.

And the treasure hunting continues.

Jill will be back at the River City Habitat for Humanity ReStore this Saturday from 9 AM–12 PM, volunteering, looking for the next piece with potential, and probably finding a few things the rest of us would have walked right past.

These lanterns did not age gracefully.

Jill did it herself! Read a little note from her Le Bee At Home:

I wanted that beautiful old copper verdigris look outside my house, so I pulled out my Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and started playing. Graphite and Provence did the heavy lifting, with layers and finishing details giving them the patina I had pictured in my head.

Turn the sound on to hear me explain a little of what I did.

And because keeping a good paint trick to myself would be rude, we’re turning it into a workshop.

Fall doesn’t always have to whisper in rust and brown.

Sometimes it shows up in cobalt blue, bright orange, fresh greenery, chinoiserie, a little gold, and one very good pumpkin.

Our front window is mixing Le Bee finds with Southbank favorites in a palette that feels collected, colorful, and still completely at home in October.

Because fall decorating doesn’t have to mean changing your whole style. Sometimes it’s just bringing the season into what you already love.

Not every corner of fall has to be pumpkin orange.

Sometimes it’s worn wood, soft greens, warm taupes, feathers, velvet, old brass, and pieces that already feel like they’ve lived a little.

We gave Le Petite Bee another reset, this time leaning into the quieter side of autumn, with plenty of texture, collected finds, and neutrals that still feel warm and seasonal.

And yes, the table with the bee stencil is still here. 🐝 Plus quite a bit more that you might not see in this post!
