The month of July at Reclaim was incredible, and we're so grateful for the amazing support from our community! Because of your generosity, our inventory is moving quickly, and we're ready to restock.

If you have housewares, furniture, artwork, doors, windows, trim, or other architectural treasures from the 1970s or earlier that you're ready to part with, we'd love to give them a new life. We're happy to pick up donations!

Do you have a home or building that is being restored or one that, unfortunately, can't be saved? We also provide salvage services, carefully removing reusable architectural elements and historic materials before demolition or renovation.

You can also drop off donations at our store during business hours or by appointment.

Timeless Elegance

Japanned hardware is one of those small details that can completely transform a piece. The term “japanning” refers to a finishing technique that dates back to the 17th century, inspired by East Asian lacquer work. Instead of true lacquer, Western makers developed a process using layers of varnish baked onto metal to create a deep, glossy black surface.

You’ll often see Japanned hardware on antique doors and windows , especially from the 18th and early 19th centuries.

Don’t let history end up in the dumpster-help us Reclaim it!

Every old home, barn, and building has a story to tell. Too often, those stories end in a landfill.

If you’re remodeling a home built before 1970, know of an old barn or 50+ year-old home scheduled for demolition, or simply have vintage architectural pieces collecting dust, we’d love to talk with you before they’re thrown away.

Your donations help preserve Jefferson City’s history while supporting the mission of Historic City of Jefferson. Salvaged materials find new homes with people restoring historic properties, creating one-of-a-kind projects, or simply appreciating the craftsmanship of the past.

📞 Send us a message or give us a call if you have something to donate or know of a property that maybe a great candidate for salvage.
